 Fish Karahi Recipe 


Making Fish Karahi is like taking a fun kitchen adventure! First, pick fresh fish and some important spices. Then, clean and cut the fish and let it soak up all the tasty flavors.  Ingredients 


 Prepared Magic Karahi Spice Mix 


  • 1 tsp red chili crushed
  • 1/2 tsp or to taste red chili powder
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan pink salt
  • 1 tsp chicken powder


 Prepared Fish Karahi 


  • 4-5 medium chopped tomatoes
  • 2-3 chopped green chilies
  • 6-8 tsp cooking oil
  • 600g fish fillets
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic crushed
  • 3 tsp prepared fish spice mix
  • 1/2 cup yogurt whisked
  • Fresh chopped coriander



 Instructions  



  • For magic spice mix, in a jar add one tsp of red chili crushed, half tsp or to taste of red chili powder, two tsp of Kashmiri red chili powder, one tsp of coriander powder, one tsp of cumin powder, half tsp of turmeric powder, half tsp or to taste of Himalayan pink salt, one tsp of chicken powder cover and shake well, your magic spice mix is ready.
  • Take four to five medium chopped tomatoes and two to three chopped green chilies.
  • Take a deep pot add maximum cooking oil as required for 600 grams fish fry on high flame for 30 seconds only, once done take it out and set aside.
  • In a deep pot add six to eight tsp of cooking oil, 1 tsp of ginger garlic crushed and sauté for a minute, add four to five medium chopped tomatoes, two to three chopped green chilies mix well and cook on high flame until tomatoes are softs or four to five minutes. Once done then add three tsp of prepared spice mix again mix well and cook on high flame for couple of minutes, then add half cup of whisked yogurt mix it well and cook on very high flame for at least a minute. Add one to two tsp of cooking oil if required mix well and cook until oil separates. Add fried fish cook for four to five minutes, spread fresh copped coriander leaves and serves for three to four persons.
